[Poll] Streaming vs Direct Downloading Anime

i prefer downloads coz i want copies on mah own. juz in case mah internet screws up and im cravin for Naruto then i can juz play mah downloads, anytime.

DB has avi files which are bigger files yet better quality videos. but i would prefer rmvb ones that are smaller files and quicker to DL.

i do have mah source of mah eps. i aint too sure if im allowed to share the link.

for anime like naruto... i tend to just stick with streaming... mainly because naruto has so many episodes and downloading them would take FOREVER on my computer...

however I've downloaded other (shorter) animes like FLCL...

Did you know that the "Opera browser" has a built-in torrent downloader? That's the main reason why i download the torrents

Very, very handy. No configuration needed. Just click the link on dattebayo.com and a window pops up asking if you want to download the episode. Just click" yes" and that's all ya gotta do! ^__^

I prefer to download..

1) When I download it I am usually downloading from either the original source or the sub group itself and I see this as somewhat helping the sub group. Plus most of the sub groups request that it stays within either their IRC channel or there website and not to put it on stream sites, because its kind of disrespectful to the fansubbers and also promotes bad quality.

Take into consideration naruto when it gets streamed on youtube the quality just utterly sucks to be honest. All work encoding translating and timing is ruined.

2) I have patience

3) I like having my own copy in my computer for the sake of not having to rely on the internet if i want to rewatch it.(mostly keep them for AMV's and what not)

But yeah thats about it

i prefer downloading cuz:
1. on my fullhd tv dattebayo's videos look great the streaming site look like a cell phone video.

2. dattebayo's files got 5.1 support stream site dont.

3. i want to watch naruto anytime anywhere i want and of course wich episode i want - searching for the right episode in a quality that i can read the sub sucks ass i mean take youtube for example sometimes its takes an hour to find what u want with my dattebayo archive it takes 1 sec

but i have to say everybody should do as he like's. i mean who cares anyway ? :confused:

PS: As u can read im a quality freak i want a great video quality and a great 5.1 suround sound everthing else would be a waste of lol my tv and soundsystem haha.
