Im sorry he isnt. He doesnt have an answer to the sword of totsuka and susanoo combo. His only hope would be to kill itachi before he activates them. While itachi could see through ang genjustu attack and repel all physical attacks and not to mention he's a maste tactician.

how are u so sure of that in a 1v1 fight itachi does not have to go save them like he did in this chapter and don't forget that susano actually hurt nagato by blowing his arms away and becos of edo his arms were revived but in a real fight with no edo tensei that won't happen and itachi has a good chance to win with sword of totsuka which is fast and can seal nagato and yata mirror could block nagato's attacks.

You guys are really underestimating Nagato. He's the master of all elements and gravity.Nagato would have defeat Itachi with chibaku tensei. If Itachi was alone and had gotten caught in it , his technique would have not being strong enough to destroy the black orb that Nagato threw and he would have been crush like Naruto said. That's why he asked Bee and Naruto to launch their strongest attack to it. If his attack could have destroy it, he would have not ask them to attack it as well.
it is true that Itachi saved both Bee and Naruto but if They weren't their Itachi would have died as well.
As much as I am a big fan of Itachi, I just don't think he would have defeat Nagato on a 1vs1.

Nagato would have defeat Itachi with chibaku tensei. i beg to difer. this chapter jus proves that Itachi is the most skilled shinobi. That last move he did with his summoning. he completely sealed nagato, snapped himself out of Kabuto's control and stored a jutsu in secret to fight against the most powerful ocular power there is.

I believe madara could face naruto alone.. six jinchurikiis will be no easy task for ANY ninja! that includes the 4th.

Naruto still has alot to learn before he could beat itachi.. as you can see pure power wont beat itachi alone.

Naruto is the strongest ninja tho... just not the smartest yet. Sasuke will make naruto fight on a whole nother level when they meet, while kabuto is just childs play.
