The proof - Why Madara wants Sasuke

This has been discussed many a time. Why is Madara trying to keep Sasuke instead of killing him, if he knows Sasuke may want to kill him?

The answer, with proof: he wants to get Sasuke's eyes once they are strong enough according to Madara's standars.

Why do I say so? Because the manga states that in order to obtain EMS (Eternal M. Sharingan) exchanging eyes can be done between clansmen, not only between brothers.

But he already has the eyes, also if itachi was protecting sasuke why would he encourage him to get the mangekyo sharingan? It was to protect himself against madara but if he got it it wouldve only put him in more danger.

Madara has it, but according to Itachi "he is a shell of his former self", he may be seeking for fresh eyes. Plus he does not seem to have both eyes.

during that itachi sasuke fight....itachi said that once madara had the eyes of his younger brother he got an eternal light and the darkness never came back.. or something like that...why should he need another eyes?

Just guessing the other eyes are old or something, or that Madara may want to do some sort of body transfer into Sasuke, for which he needs Sasuke to have EMS. But I thank to those who posted a reply, all of you have a point, now you've made me wonder again why Madara wants Sasuke instead of having already killed him. May have some relation with the kyubii, I guess.

However, it was interesting for me to find out the the guy you take the eyes from needn't be your brother, just someone from the clan... which even means Sasuke could take Madara's eye/s in case he can beat him.

I have 2 theories

1.) the first is madara wants sasukes eyes because he knows there is a level high then EMS

2.) madara wants sasuke to take his place, He is the last of his clan. Without him the bloodline would die, If Madara is immortal he may not be fully functioning. Look at the what happened to him. it all goes along what this clan must do to gain power. SUFFER (kill those close to you) the only way sasuke's eye's will reach there full power is if he kills Naruto. and thats the warning the 9tails gave sasuke, (if you kill naruto you will be live to regret it)

There's a good chance Madara walso wants to revive the clan. He may wan to revive Uchiha and become the mjost loved and adored leader like it used to be before the old Uchiha betrayed him.

do u think madara is that strong?maybe he can't wipe out konoha ..or something he's against...and he needs help from a strong shinobi like sasuke..that's why he said :"important was to make sasuke mine"..maybe he thinks of him as a ally andwhen the time comes he will kill him

If he wants Sasuke to implant Itachi's eyes, wouldn't he be wanting Itachi's eyes instead of Sasuke's? I think Itachi wanted Sasuke to have MS to gain EMS after their fight, but Sasuke didn't so Itachi had to implant MS in Sasuke at the end of the fight. He wants Sasuke to be able to defend himself against Madara, and he felt that EMS was the way to do so.

The story will kind of suck if Sasuke has no limit on casting jutsu like Ameratsu and Susanoo other than chakra. However, the first found a way to defeat Madara who had EMS.

and you are so sure because of what?do u saw him attacking?all he was doing was to run away or dodge attacks...don't be so sure about that...we' ll see who's stronger....in any way he's not that strong so he could beat all the ninjas in konoha by himself

Please tell me if I'm mistaken: I think the manga stated that the 9 tails can control the rest of bijuus.

And the fox has already told Sasuke that he had only seen such powerful eyes in Madara. "you've done well in becoming so powerful", or the like.

ok, i'm not trying to stir anything up here but we know madara was beaten by the 1st. he had an axe to grind since his clansmen who betrayed him and needless to say he was KOS in kohona. let's just say, for the sake of argument, that madara took obito's body because it was accessible and believed to be destroyed so nobody would come looking for it. even though obit's body was smashed perhaps it could be rehabilitated and used to prolong madara's life long enough to get revenge on everyone. he took his clansmen out of the equation. obito did not have EMS and only 1 eye. maybe he wants sasuke's body because sasuke has 2 eyes, a strong body and MS. maybe madara is saving itachi's eyes so when he takes sasuke's body he'll have another set of MS eyes to implant to attain EMS once again.

I'm just throwing that out there. and i know there might be a bunch of "TOBI IS NOT OBITO" stuff but i'm asking you to open your minds to the possibility.

yeah that would be a cool twist and i can see how it could totally fit into the story. there are soooo many possibilities!
