Re: Karin's Break out
Honestly, I will be very curious to see the development of Karin.
I'm not a NaruKari(n) ... KariNaru ...? Fan. That would be out of the blue (though possible as she seems to be one of the females least likely to die at this point).
I will be curious to see which direction her character heads, though. For quite a while, she was obsessed with the idea of Sasuke... but seemed to go through a somewhat healthy change after being left for dead by Sasuke and saved by Team 7. She seemed to immediately draw inspiration or comfort from Naruto's personality (and chakra).
I'd say she's poised to be a better heroine than Sakura, at this point, depending upon what she does. I will, largely, be curious to see where she goes and what she ends up embracing as a motive for living (before it was Orochimaru, then it was Sasuke... now?). She doesn't seem to be at all pleased with Sasuke... but I do see her potentially doing something quite profound in the plot yet to come (likely involving Sasuke...).
But I will be horribly pissed if the next chapter does not continue the Naru-Hina-ness that we ended with in the last chapter. Building suspense through ADHDing your plot lines is a good way to get torches and pitch-forks outside your door step.
