As you begin to run suddenly you are stopped and tripped as an arm forms from the ground and grabs your right leg, pulling it back forcefuly and tripping you. While you are falling you are pelted from your left and right (but behind you abit so that you cannot see them) with a wind infused explosive tagged kunai from the left and a fire infused paper tagged kunai from the right that will slice cleanly through your head. These all happen at the same time as Zetsu creates 3 clones that silently (due to not emerging form the ground but rather, forming, from the ground) rise. Again this happens AS they rise. This stops your water technique
( Zetsu no Bunshinjutsu ) - Zetsu's Clone Technique

Damage Points: N/A [ though clones can attack with kunai, shuriken etc. ]
Description: Zetsu's White Half creates numerous clones of itself that can be made to arise from any point on the ground. The abilities of the clones are not known, but they can probably attack with kunai, shuriken and other ninja tools. These clones can be used as a basis for Zetsu's Substitute Technique.
The fight's only just begun
As you begin to fall Zetsu creates roots from under you to rise blindingly fast that completely wrap around you and squeeze the life out of you (while of course leaving your head free)
Mokuton: Chika no Rūtsu) - Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique
Zetsu will use his chakra to forcefully grow roots from the underground that will rise and attack his target. The roots can acquire great proportions and can be quite fast, subduing an enemy easily as they restrict his movements and wrap around him. If use defensively, it can create a wall of roots to rise from the ground.
Note: Usable only by Zetsu
He then causes water to immediately gush around you and form an orb, leaving you wrapped up in wood, unable to make handseals, and to drown

Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.
Note: Technique creates its own water source
