Re: Am i the only one that thinks that The Dark Night Rises was terrible?
If that's what you're going by then still no, Avengers and Winter soldier were both better visually. TDK was the best, but that doesn't mean the trilogy is the best. Imo adding the other two only brings down TDK. Winter Soldier had better fight choreography. Batman had good acting but the star was the worst actor for his part in the entire movie. You'll probably disagree being a fan of the series and by extension Bale, but Bale didn't do a good job at being Batman and that's mostly Nolan's fault as he's the director and writer.

I know you didn't just bring critics into this. Critics are the same as every other person who watched a movie and had an opinion on it. As far as how the critics felt they're pretty even.
Spiderman(2002)/Batman Begins(2005): IMDB-SM-7.3 from 409,159 users/73 Metacscore BB-8.3 from 686,694 users/70 Metascore. Batman also got an extra 200k votes so the score would be a little higher. Box Office- SM $821,708,551 BB $374.2 million. Rotten Tomatoes: SM- 89% BB-85%.
Spideman2(2004)/The Dark Knight(2008): IMDB-SM2-7.4 from 286,282 users/Metascore 83 TDK-9.0 from 1,201,450 users/Metascore 82. Again way more votes and I've acknowledged this is the best movie out right now. Box Office: SM2-$783,766,341 TDK-$1,004.6 million. Rotten Tomatoes: SM2-94% with an average score of 8.3 TDK-94% with an average score of 8.5.
SpiderMan 3(2007)/The Dark Knight Rises(2012): IMDB: SM3-6.2 from 272,940 users /Metascore 59 TDKR-8.6 from 798,076 users /Metascore 78. Spider-Man 3 did not get much love but it also came out 5 years prior when comic movies weren't as prevelant as 2012) Box Office: SM3-$890,871,626 TDKR-1.1 billion. (coming off TDK no wonder so many went and saw it. Rotten Tomatoes: SM3-63% TDKR-88%
Spiderman 3 got complaints from the people I heard not about the story or movie but about Venom and Topher Grace. Plus 2007 wasn't a great year for comic movies
30 Days of Night
Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer
Not many of those got good reviews. Anyway the Nolan trilogy subjectively doesn't blow Raimi's Spiderman trilogy out of the water as you claimed. It may be your personal favorite and that's fine but don't try and down play the quality of a movie to make yours seem better. And yes, I did go that hard on a comic-movie based thread on an internet forum focusing on manga.
